Parish Council

The Archdiocesan Guidelines describe the Parish Council's purpose: "to assist the pastor in his leadership role of planning, organizing, initiating, promoting, coordinating and reviewing the evangelization, worship, religious education and service activities within the parish." Parish Pastoral Council members have four year terms, are nominated by any parishioner(s), and are chosen from among all nominations after a process of prayerful discernment and a general election. 50% of the Council undergoes the election process every two years.

The principle intent of the Council is to represent the concerns and needs of all parishioners. Please feel free to address the Council with questions and/or concerns so that the Council will have a better understanding of the needs of the Parish. Parishioners are indeed welcome and encouraged to share thoughts and ideas about Holy Family with the Council; please talk individually with Council members and/or email the  Parish Office with the subject heading, "For Discussion at the Parish Council Meeting"; such will then be discussed accordingly; meetings are held regularly throughout the year and are posted on the Parish Calendar

Parish Activities/Events Committee

The Parish Activities/Events Committee is responsible for planning and coordinating the social activities and events of the Parish. The Committee recommends to the Pastor and carries out (within sub-committees) forums for Holy Family Parishioners that encourage interaction with each other through fun activities within a social setting. By doing such, the Committee intends to strengthen and build a sense of hospitality and Parish community; and as appropriate, assist in funding the needs of the Parish.

Activities include events such as bean suppers, the Harvest Dinner, the Holiday Fair, the Spring Dinner Show and Auction; and the like.

Parish Activities/Events Committee membership is open to all Parishioners on an incidental basis. Meetings are posted on the Parish Calendar.

The Committee is co-chaired by:

Lord Jesus Christ, Who, being made subject to Mary and Joseph, didst consecrate domestic life by Thine ineffable virtues; grant that we, with the assistance of both, may be taught by the example of Thy Holy Family and may attain to its everlasting fellowship. Who livest and reignest forever.

Domine Iesu Christe, qui Mariae et Ioseph subditus, domesticam vitam ineffabilibus virtutibus consecrasti: fac nos, utriusque auxilio, Familiae sanctae tuae exemplis instrui et consortium consequi sempiternum: Qui vivis et regnas in saecula saeculorum.
Amen.
